Alaskan Forest Exploration

Experience the great outdoors like never before! Alaska BigFoot Adventures offers a fun-filled time for Bigfoot enthusiasts, environmentalists, and anyone who's seeking excitement and adventure in the deep woods wilderness serving the ports of both Ward Cove and Ketchikan, Alaska.


Originally, our deep woods site in Tongass National Forest was owned by Ketchikan Gateway Borough and Ward Cover Group. It was negotiated by Alaska Bio-Tour Adventures in 2018, which then became the home base of our tourism business. Explore our website to learn more information about our wilderness tours!

Our Tour

 

Every tour begins with a van ride from downtown Ketchikan to our UTV site during this ride your guide will give a narration of the history of Ketchikan and key locations. From there buckle yourselves in as you and your friends ride through the forest on our UTVs to the Alaska Bigfoot Adventures trail. Upon arrival enjoy the beautiful nature walk as your guide shows you the local floral, plays you local bigfoot stories, and serves you a gourmet cookie with coffee/Hot chocolate. You might even get a picture with Squatch our friendly neighborhood bigfoot friend ;)

 

This experience provides a remote wilderness hiking activity for individuals, families or groups interested in learning a wealth of information about the Tongass National Forest and soaking in the primitive surroundings of this Sasquatch “Stomping Ground.

Marcus B. Martin, Owner and Operator

Marcus Martin is the owner operator of Alaska Bigfoot Adventures. Marcus grew up in Ketchikan and the neighboring Prince of Whales Island. He was born and raised in Alaska, being a true local his entire life. The trail was designed and built by him and his business consultant/friend Rob Holston (Tourism Entertainment & Hospitality, LLC).

Nancy Hart, We had such a great time with Marcus and his Big Foot Adventure. He took us for a tour of Ketchikan first then we went up to ride the ATV’s and walk the trail that he handmade for five years! He definitely has put a lot of love and time into this trail system. We loved seeing Big Foot in person! The trail is definitely doable for almost anyone and Marcus was very attentive. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.
